d) Note promenade those ladies fair,
But touch 'em? No sir, don't you dare!
Repeat 2 as written, for second, third, and fourth gentlemen.
3. No-w allemande left with your left hand,
But don't you touch 'em.
Right hand to partners and right and left grand, But don't you touch 'em. Promenade, boys, and touch 'em if you like.
THE EXPLANATION:
1.  See page 149 for explanation or substitute any introduc­tion given there.
2.  a) First gentleman leaves partner, and crosses to the
third lady. He either does a dos-a-dos around her, or leans his shoulder toward her and with arms held behind him in a comedy position, goes round her with­out touching her.
b)   He now returns and encircles his own lady,
c)   Each gentleman now goes to the right behind his lady and encircles the next or right-hand lady with ex­aggerated comedy.
Right and left grand but don't you touch 'em.
